My milk came in today! I am up to about 2 ounces of breastmilk. I'm so proud of myself!

The girls are still on their CPAPs but are doing well with breathing. They are still a bit rapid yet. They have lost a few ounces since being born but they are still above 5LBS. The weight loss is ok since they weren't eating anything and were just on the nutritive IV. They should start gaining weight now since they are getting food. I got to hold and feed Aubrey today. It was so awesome. I couldn't believe how small she felt in my arms. She opened her big blue eyes and watched me while I held her bottle and talked to her. I cried, I was so happy. She didn't finish her bottle so she had to get the rest through a tube. They are eating every 3 hours. Emmalee is eating 27CCs and Aubrey is eating 26CCs. They are doing so good with everything. They just need to slow their breathing down so that they can come off of the CPAPs and then they can go in bassinets. They will probably be in until they are at full feeds then. That is something that is going to be discussed with the doctor tomorrow.
